We definitely need to get out there and do our fairy garden--I spent a mint at AC Moore buying the most adorable furniture for the fairies (in fact, we bought lovely fairies for the garden, too).
Thanks for the props on my arrangement. Even better? I only paid $12 for all those flowers (two bunches of spray roses and one bunch of alstromeria) at the market! If you want a cool book for some handy tips on flower arranging, check out Carly Cylinder's The Flower Chef. She organizes the book like a cookbook and lists "ingredients" and "cook time" for each "recipe"-- that's where I learned the round bouquet technique I used to make this bunch. I still need some practice, but for my first time (and working from memory after only browsing the section once, I was pleased with how it turned out & I'm excited to try some other arrangements. I am really excited and do to...I get like that too. I am really excited and do tons of research and then move on completely from it or months later will remember that I was really enthused about something and will pick it up again. Now I try to keep myself from buying anything until I actually think I'm going to take action. Other than that I have guilt :(

That said- When I have a house with a yard I totally want a fairy garden! They are so stinkin cute and little me would have gone bananas over something like that.

Your flower arrangement looks really nice, like really nice. Pro Level. I'd buy that (if I had that kinda money hehe) from a florist, fo-sho.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18233231672757504863noreply@blogger.com
